Three days is the realistic minimum because Merzouga is about 560 km away. Four or five days give a more relaxed pace and more time in the dunes.
For a first trip, the 7-day or 10-day circuits combine the imperial cities, Chefchaouen and the Sahara. If you only have a few days, choose a 3- or 4-day desert trip from Marrakech.
